This choice of dry food▏feed can further reduce the risk of falling fish prices!

If life is like a line, I would like to make it straighter, and so would the price of fish.
However, the prices of farmed aquatic products are often affected by various factors and fluctuate greatly. There are few ponds at the beginning of the year, and there are few overwintering fish and shrimps. The market supply exceeds demand, and fish prices remain strong. In autumn, a large number of fish and shrimps come on the market, following the trend of popular breeding species, and the market supply exceeds demand. Fish prices remain strong. The price is likely to fall, and you will lose money if you are not careful.
Although fish prices are difficult to predict, fortunately, the costs during the breeding process can be effectively controlled, that is, choosing a plan that maximizes economic benefits with minimal investment per unit of breeding water area. The solution is expressed as a mathematical formula :
Feed with price Ps (yuan/ton) and feed coefficient FCR is used in ponds or cages . After breeding for T time , a total of Fi (kilograms) was fed. When sold, the price of adult fish is Py (yuan/kg), and the non-feed cost is C (yuan) (including the cost of seeds, pond rental, equipment, water, electricity, labor, medicine, etc.).
It can be seen from this formula that there are many factors that affect breeding efficiency, but farmers are most concerned about feed prices, because feed costs are the largest investment in breeding costs, accounting for 40-50% of the total breeding costs, and some are even as high as As much as 70%.
In order to achieve better economic benefits, it is very important to reduce feed costs.
So if the feed price is low, the investment will be less and the cost will be low. Is this view correct?
the answer is negative. In fact, when choosing feed, you should follow the minimum "feed cost per unit fish output". That is to say, when choosing feed, you should not only consider the price of the feed, but also pay attention to the weight gain of the fish after feeding the feed (feed coefficient) .
First , let’s take a look at the relationship between feed coefficient and breeding cost☟
There is also a gap in the yield of adult fish produced under the same weight of feed and different feed coefficients. It can be seen from this table that the same 2,000 kilograms of feed can produce 2,000 kilograms of adult fish when the feed coefficient is 1; but when the feed coefficient is increased to 2, only 1,000 kilograms of fish can be produced.
The price of feed matches the quality grade of feed, that is, the higher the price of feed, the lower the feed coefficient is.Feed cost per unit fish production = feed coefficient × feed price
Suppose there are two feeds:
▶ The feed coefficient of A feed is higher (1.8), but the price is lower (4250 yuan/ton) ;
▶ The feed coefficient of B feed is lower (1.6), but the price is higher (4625 yuan/ton) ;
The weight gain cost of producing 1 kilogram of fish using feed A is 3.825 yuan (1.8×2.125=3.825); the weight gain cost of producing 1 kilogram of fish using feed B is 3.7 yuan
(1.6×2.3125=3.7);
It can be seen from the obtained data that using feed B saves 0.125 yuan per kilogram of fish production compared to using feed A, and produces 125 yuan per ton of fish. That is to say, using feed B makes 125 yuan more than using feed A. Then The amount of money to be made from large-scale breeding is considerable.
Still taking A and B feeds as an example, under the premise of keeping the feed cost per unit fish weight gain unchanged, the impact of the feed coefficient on the feed cost is analyzed. The price of feed A is 4,250 yuan/ton, the feed coefficient is 1.8, and the cost of raising 2,000 kilograms of fish is 7,650 yuan (4250×1.8=7650); the feed coefficient of feed B is 1.6, and if the cost of producing 2,000 kilograms of fish remains unchanged, the price of feed B is converted It is 4781.25 yuan (7650÷1.6=4781.25).
According to the growth effect of feed A, the price of feed B should be 4781.25 yuan/ton. In fact, the price of feed B is only 4625 yuan per ton, which is 156.25 yuan different from the calculated price. That is, the price of feed B is higher than that of feed B for every ton of fish produced. Feed A can save 156.25 yuan in cost, and using feed B can earn 156.25 yuan more than using feed A.
Next, let’s discuss the relationship between growth rate and feed quality☟
Assume that when the feeding rate is 4%, taking a pond holding 1,000 kilograms of fish as an example, two feeds A and B are fed. The feed coefficient of feed A is 1.85, and the daily weight gain is 21.62 kilograms (1000×4%÷1.85=21.62); the feed coefficient of feed B is 1.25, and the daily weight gain is 32 kilograms (1000×4%÷1.25=32).
Calculated based on the same growth period of 100 days: Feed A can grow 2,162 kilograms of fish, and Feed B can grow 3,200 kilograms of fish. Feed B will grow 1038 kilograms more fish than feed A ; based on the same growth of 2162 kilograms: feed A will take 100 days, feed B will only take 67.6 days (2162÷32=67.6), and feeding feed B will save 32.4 days compared with feeding feed A. .
Therefore, choosing high-quality feed can shorten the production cycle, better grasp the market conditions to produce fish, and make more money when the market conditions are good, and lose less money when the market conditions are bad!
In short, the choice of feed should be based on the fish's eating habits and nutritional needs. Feed with appropriate nutritional levels and appropriate prices should be selected.
Don't just focus on the appearance quality and crude protein of the product, the feed coefficient is more meaningful; don't just decide the choice based on price, but choose products with low weight gain feed costs; when the market conditions are good and fish prices are high, High-quality feed that grows faster should be selected.
